The Township purchased this 26 acre parcel known as the Darlington Tract to develop a new community park with both active and passive recreation opportunities.  The former home at 110 West Boot Road will house the Parks and Recreation Department as well as the offices of the West Whiteland Township Historic Commission.  The site has a pavilion, large and small playground equipment, one softball field and one baseball field, a butterfly garden, blue bird nesting boxes, .58 walking path around the perimeter of the park and comfort facilities.
